New US Built 2012 Passat in Showrooms This Fall

The journalgazette.net reported this weekend on the endeavor by Volkswagen to increase US market share with a domestically built Passat that is bigger and less expensive at the new plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The new 2012 Passat was unveiled last week with a goal to build US sales to 1 million units by 2018.

The new Passat will be in showrooms this fall. Volkswagen intends to produce 150,000 sedans annually at Chattanooga for the American market. For more information on the 2012 Passat, please contact a David Maus Volkswagen location in Orlando.
